Bruce's StoryBruce Lyon Architect started his professional career in 1984 having graduated from UC Berkeley College of Environmental Design with a Bachelor's of Art's Degree in 1894. Working while going to college he designed custom commercial kitchens, collaborating with a kitchen contractor, and used the proceeds to finance his education in Architecture. His Architectural business has successfully provided architectural services since his licensure in 1991. Bruce designed this web site displaying his work. Bruce�s firm offers design services for Residential, Assisted Living Senior Care, Commercial, Restaurant, Industrial, Telecommunications, and Network Cabling. Repeat clientele form the backbone of support for a company that successfully creates a design based on each client�s design vision. Bruce is personally involved in programming, design development, client contact and effectively presents projects during the public hearing process, and then expedites them through the building permit process. Bruce participated in the design process of Miracle Makeover 2006, a Dream Project for the Bay Area Crisis Nursery in Concord, California. He lead an afterschool tutoring program, from 2008 to 2012 that encouraged groups of high school students to continue their studies in College. Bruce also enjoyed a business partnership with Randolph Finn Architect, Lyon and Finn Architects, which ended with Randy's retirement in 2012. The Lyon Architect firm continues to provide first class design services aimed at improving the community through healthy, sustainable, resource efficient, and economically productive development. |
